jarrawujarrawuwarra by Ros Sultan
Ros Sultan is an Eastern Arrernte and Gurindji woman who uses ink; texta pens; acrylic paints; and finely ground earth that resembles pigment or ochre to create intricate and highly detailed images.
For this exhibition, entitled jarrawujarrawuwarra, meaning ‘moving light’ in Gurindji language, Sultan’s small, detailed drawings are projected at a momentous scale. The light beams life into the lines, shapes, curves and colours of each delicately arranged composition creating movement as they dance across the park.

Baby Guerrilla creates Libraries Change Lives mural for Richmond Library
Melbourne-based street-artist, Baby Guerrilla, has transformed the Church Street side of the Richmond Library wall into a large bookshelf. Stacked with a broad range of publications, the shelves run along the length of the building. Engaged in various activities, animals and fictional characters weave their way through the books, attesting to the infinite possibilities that libraries offer. -

Earth, Body and Soul is a series of collaborations with dear friends and family. Here nature acts as both content and context. In this series, characters inhabit the landscape wearing sculptures they created in collaboration with the artist. The spaces these works exist in are undeniably interwoven within the work itself. Spaces shapeshift us, tell stories and unfold histories, as well as having the ability to become transformed through artistic practices.
